Album Release in Mandeep’s Taxi.

Mandeep plays tabla on the songs ‘My Blind Goat’ and ‘Primal-Digital’ on the album. Releasing the album exclusively on Mandeep’s Toyota Camry stereo, may have seemed ridiculously limiting, but in February 2016, it made a lot of sense amidst the cascade of endlessly new releases streamed online. Noisey were first to break the story. Peruse the article here.

The media got rather excited, as the video above from the ad agency JWT attests. Mandeep even picked up a steady flow of new business, to boot.

To this day, if you're in Auckland, do give call Mandeep on +64272169287 and book a ride in his taxi to hear the album. He’ll only be too pleased to take you to the best listening spots in the city, to bring to life the themes and feels in the recording.

HOME - a music video from the album Primal-Digital.

Music video for the song Home (ft. Willa). From the album Primal-Digital.

Home is both a sanctuary to return to, and a place you can carry within you.

Willa O'Neill sings beautifully, Kieran Scott plays guitars masterfully, Stephen Langdon directed and shot this over the two years travel away from home. Big cheer for your sharp eye and persistence.

Lyric art prints for the album. Design by Glenn Chapman.
